“When this baby hits 20 mph… you’re gonna see some serious s$%#!”
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself! Alright, this product isn’t for a time-traveling DeLorean, but you get the obvious reference. I get to edit video for some pretty neat technology products, but this one takes the cake. What a treat it was to work on this Kickstarter video for the Equalia Hoverboard. Yes, you heard right. HOVERBOARD.
Now, before you jump the gun when you see the product and say, “hey, that’s not an actual hoverboard”, give it a chance to be explained. It’s about the experience! And the engineers at Equalia created something pretty sweet that any Back To The Future fan can truly appreciate.
The video is embedded in their Kickstarter page. Check it out!
Versame is a new tech product that aims to help you engage more with your baby. I was particularly interested in this video as my wife and I are expecting our first child in November of this year! What I like about the product is that it’s using technology to get you to stop using technology in a way. Instead of more flashy games and apps to distract your child with, it’s a discreet piece of hardware that counts the number of words you use to talk to your baby with. In that way, it encourages parents to put down our own phones, laptops, etc. so that we can reach that word count goal for the day. And through that, we engage and have more quality conversations (albeit one-way for now) with our kids.
